Social networking for fun and profit
Jaci is considering using Facebook as a marketing tool. Do you use Facebook, MySpace, or other types of social networking for your small business? What do you think about it?

Facebook, Myspace and th elike are good places to connect with a certain group of people and offer branding opportunities but there really are no real sales to be made by just being there.
Still, proper branding leads to name recognition which will lead to sales down the line.

Facebook and MySpace are fine. But we think the next wave will be putting social networking right into your current web site - while integrating with these other large social networks.
Here is a good blog on why social applications should be built on your own web site - http://bobbickel.blogspot.com/2008/02/why-build-social-applications-into-web.html
