Traffic is considered the number one priority for any successful marketer. Without targeted traffic to your website, no one can expect to generate any sale. There are many ways to drive traffic to one’s website, but few effective ones. Personally, I prefer the following methods:

1. Commenting on related blogs, and contributes to the discussion with your comment.

2. Posting on related forums, and helping people in the process.

3. Link submission to directories for a long term positive result of SEO.

4. Distribution of related and good quality articles through articles directories.

It makes sense to get connected with everyone else in the small biz community, not try to do things all by yourself.
